The After Party Sunday School (Week 6)

Friends of Refugees Fall Volunteer Work Day
Join us for a Volunteer Work Day on Saturday, October 24th. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in the Clarkston community and connect with others who share the same excitement for serving with Friends of Refugees. Opportunities include garden work, painting, assembling furniture, cleanup, etc. at various Friends of Refugees program sites..

We’re piloting an evening group similar to the format of Thursday mornings, complete with scripture, discussion, and fellowship. Women's North Georgia Day Hike
Come away with us to spend all day in the North Georgia Mountains on a 10-mile hike. We'll start at the top of Amicalola Falls and hike the moderate, five-mile trail up to the Len Foote Hike Inn, a sustainably designed Georgia State Park facility nestled in the Chattahoochee National Forest. We'll have time at the Inn for lunch, games, contemplation, and relaxation before heading back down. This trail is not difficult (many ASF kids have hiked it before), just long (we will be covering 10 miles in one day).
There is something transcendent about spending all day in the wilderness, challenging your body, breathing in the fresh air, and getting away from everyday life. We hope you'll join us on this adventure! And this isn't just for adults--girls in middle school and older are welcome to attend (they'll beat us to the top for sure!)

Get ready for an epic night of fun! Our middle school lock-in is Friday, October 2, from 7:00 PM to Saturday, October 3, at 9:00 AM! High schoolers, it’s time to escape the school-year grind and head to Oconee, TN for an unforgettable weekend getaway!
We’ll be staying in a group cabin, laughing through packed game nights, and tackling the rapids on Saturday morning with Adventures Unlimited white-water rafting. Beyond the adventure, we’ll spend time focusing on the transformative power of grace and truth, and what it truly means to be known and loved.

The weather is finally cooling off, the leaves are changing, and the days are growing shorter.
