Ash Wednesday — officially known as the Day of Ashes — is a day of repentance, when Christians confess their sins and profess their devotion to God. It marks the beginning of the season of Lent. At All Souls, we gather for a short service of song, liturgy, meditation from Scripture, and the imposition of ashes.
