Resting Together as Women

The Women’s Ministry hosted a morning focused on incorporating one’s body in prayer. The event included moments of silence and prayer, small group reflection, and yoga and teaching from Kimi Nettuno.

Half Day Retreat | November 11, 2023

28 Women attended the Half Day Retreat.

Women gathered for a day or the weekend at Unicoi Lodge in Helen, GA. The weekend included comfy accommodations, delicious meals, fires, teaching, time in small groups, options for hikes and wine tastings, and plenty of downtime.

Winter Retreat | January 19-21, 2024

40 Women attended the Winter Retreat.

Krista Gilliam and the Women’s Ministry team designed a very meaningful 4 session retreat using the words untangle, unhurried, unlock, and unearth to help draw us nearer to God using this theme. In addition to our group meetings, we were given a wonderful choice of Saturday afternoon activities- hiking, visiting a winery, games and crafts, or resting. What I loved most about the retreat was the depth of concern Krista and her team had for each woman to come away from this retreat being deeply nurtured and nourished in their faith and fellowship, and this happened in a big way, through every very carefully planned detail to make this happen. I cherish every women’s event at our church for this very reason.

Resting Together as Men

Men’s Retreat | October 13-15, 2023

The Annual Men’s Retreat returned this past Fall with much excitement. The weekend at Glisson Camp in Dahlonega, GA, included meals together, campfires, times of teaching and small group reflection, and plenty of time for rest and recreation.

28 Men attended the Men’s Retreat.

The peaceful environment helped me experience rest. I was able to get alone and reflect on the messages each day.

I most enjoyed getting to connect with other All Souls men in such a beautiful setting. We enjoyed each other’s company and the discourse was really good. My kind of people and I was blessed to be a part of it.
