Noura Eid was born and raised in a Christian family in a Christian village not too far from Damascus, Syria. As she witnessed the destruction of her beautiful country, she was miraculously called to be an agent of God’s grace to those without hope. At the age of 17, she became enamored by the idea of studying theology and entering church ministry. She pursued a Bachelor of Theology degree at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon. Upon completion, in September 2020, she moved to Belgium to pursue a Master of Arts in Theology at Evangelische Theologische Faculteit Leuven (ETF), an interdenominational evangelical school of theology in the heart of Europe. Afterward, God opened doors for her to move to Decatur, GA, in 2022, to pursue an MDiv at Columbia Theological Seminary.
Noura believes she is called to contribute to strengthening the global church, especially where it is vulnerable and suffering. God has opened doors for her to move to Barcelona, Spain, together with my husband, Andrei Motta, a Brazilian-Portuguese theology graduate and potential ministry worker as well. She will be strategically placed to engage with the growing Arabic-speaking churches and ministries in that part of the world, and to be active in the good work that God is performing in them. Her role with The Outreach Foundation is to deepen its existing partnerships across the Middle East as well as develop some new connections in Spain that will enable further build upon the desire to reach the Arab community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
