Amrah Johnson | Ruling Elder

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT ALL SOULS?

Amrah and her husband, Casey, have been attending All Souls for the last 10 years, along with their four children: Grant, Ansley, Elm, and Ridge.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO SERVE AS AN ELDER? HOW DID YOU EXPERIENCE GOD CALLING YOU TO THIS OFFICE?

“Over the last several years, I have seen God use All Souls as a place of spiritual nourishment and growth for my family and so many others, locally and around the world. I have great hope and belief that God will continue to work in and through our church in ways that will bring glory to His kingdom. It is exciting and humbling to think that I could use my spiritual gifts to serve All Souls along this journey.”

WHAT OTHER WAYS HAVE YOU SERVED AT ALL SOULS?

"I have been actively involved in and led community groups, have shared many seasons with our Children’s Ministry teaching Sunday School, and have also participated on the Finance Committee.”

HOW HAS GOD USED ALL SOULS IN YOUR LIFE?

“There are many ways in which God has used All Souls in my life–most of which point back to the community of our church. We do not have family in Georgia and the relationships formed here represent lifelong friendships and a key source of our ‘local family.’

Also, my faith has been sharpened as All Souls has wrestled with complex topics over the past few years. This has allowed me to become much more clear about what I believe to be the ‘essential’ elements of the Christian faith."
