Resting Together as Women

Half Day Retreat | October 5, 2024

The Women’s Ministry hosted a half day retreat to unplug and unwind at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit.

23 Women attended the Half Day Retreat.

What I loved about the women’s retreat was getting to spend quality time with women that I only usually see on Sundays. It was great to have meaningful conversations and rest together in such a beautiful setting.

Winter Retreat | January 31 - February 2, 2025

Women gathered for a day or the weekend at Unicoi Lodge in Helen, GA. The weekend included comfy accommodations, delicious meals, fires, teaching, time in small groups, options for hikes and wine tastings, and plenty of downtime.

50 Women attended the Winter Retreat.

I found the Women’s Winter Retreat to be truly meaningful as it gave me the opportunity to strengthen bonds with existing friends, grow relationships with the women of ASF that I did not know prior, and discover a sisterhood that I know I can turn to during good and bad times. This connection is exactly what I have been searching for within a church family!

Intown Retreat | March 29, 2025

Women gathered for an afternoon of contemplation and embodied practices at The Intown Retreat. The time together included a teaching from Claudia Lewis on learning to embrace our bodies, a nourishing yoga class, time for reflection and prayer, and the opportunity to sauna/cold plunge.

20 Women attended the Intown Retreat.

Resting Together as Men

Men’s Retreat | October 11-13, 2024

The Annual Men’s Retreat returned this past Fall with much excitement. The weekend at Glisson Camp in Dahlonega, GA, included meals together, campfires, times of teaching and small group reflection, and plenty of time for rest and recreation.

29 Men attended the Men’s Retreat.

This year’s ASF men’s retreat was a balm for my spirit and gave me what I needed most: rest, space away from the noise and demands of life to relax and breathe deeply in a beautiful place, unscheduled time and healthy nudges to reflect and consider how I might live more abundantly, good conversation and encouragement from other men in our church, and reminders of what is true and good. So grateful for this time.

The All Souls Men’s Retreat is always a highlight of my year. I’ve never experienced a weekend of more intentional bonding and conversation than what I’ve found in the Men’s Retreat. This isn’t simply a weekend of games and relaxation - it’s a chance to grow towards Christlikeness in the company and vulnerability of brotherhood.
