In conjunction with the church-wide Lent study on mercy and justice, the Thursday morning group will be reading The Reckless Way of Love by Catholic social activist Dorothy Day. In this guidebook, Dorothy Day offers hard-earned wisdom and practical advice gained through decades of seeking to know Jesus and to follow his example to love and serve the poor. The book gives insight into her life of faith and works, and explores questions such as where did she receive strength to stay true to her God-given calling despite her own doubts and the demands of an activist life? What was the unquenchable wellspring of her deep faith and her love for humanity?

Join us for a six-week study as we learn about devotion to God and selfless service to others. We'll discuss the sections "To The Reader" and "Introduction" at our first meeting on 2/26.
