Serving with Cru
Josh and Taylor Irby have been involved with missions in Europe for the past two decades. Josh lived in Croatia for two years after graduating from Georgia Tech in 1999. Taylor joined multiple trips to France with her high school youth group and made her first trip to Eastern Europe with Josh in 2003. God used these early experiences to bring them onto staff with Cru and then to Sarajevo, Bosnia for 11 years, where they helped establish a student ministry (2009-2020). They now help send, resource, and care for missionaries across Europe as well as build partnerships to support the work of national European leaders. Taylor is a certified Life Coach who uses her training in staff care and coaching. Josh is Cru City’s Partnership Director for Europe.
Josh and Taylor have five kids—Israel, Elijah, Adeline, Zoe, and Isaac—who grew up in Bosnia and are adjusting to life in America. They are working hard to carve out a European life in Decatur where they enjoy walking to coffee shops, meeting neighbors, and singing along to musicals in their overpopulated townhome.
