Women, Men, and Youth are invited to join us in a time of worship, liturgy and lament in the sanctuary.

Events of 2025 have left many in our community and our world feeling disoriented. In such times, Scripture’s prophetic witness points us toward the practices of lament. Lament challenges us to acknowledge real suffering and to carry our pain and sorrow to God. John Swinton tells us that lament can be a powerful call to God.  It expresses the painful content of one’s experience and the emotion that is connected with the experience.  It is a cry for God to intervene (Raging with Compassion).
