New Women’s Thursday Morning Study!
Let Nothing Disturb You: 30 Days with Teresa of Avila
Thursday, April 13th–Thursday, May 11th, 10-11:30 am
We’re finishing out the semester with a short book by a female saint who is one of history’s authorities on contemplative prayer. Saint Teresa of Avila (1515-1582) was a contemplative nun, religious reformer, and gifted spiritual writer who founded the Discalced Carmelites and became the first woman to be named Doctor of the Church. Her writings are just as compelling and relevant today as they were hundreds of years ago! Let Nothing Disturb You consists of short daily meditations for morning and evening. (Don’t worry–no heavy reading during this busy time of year!) We hope you join us for one last morning study before we break for summer.
Please purchase the book prior to our first meeting and read the introduction. We’ll start Day One together on 4/13. No registration required. Email women@allsoulsfellowship.org if you have any questions.
