HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT ALL SOULS?
I have been a part of All Souls since its beginning.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO SERVE AS AN ELDER? HOW DID YOU EXPERIENCE GOD CALLING YOU TO THIS OFFICE?
I’m not sure I would say that I wanted to serve as an Elder, but I did hear the voice of God (which sounded very much like Shayne’s) calling me to be an Elder.
When I was asked, I really did feel like I had the opportunity to serve the church and congregation I love with some of the limited gifts God has given to me. I felt a peace that this was what God was asking me to do and moved forward based on His peace. It has been a blessing, and at times a challenge, to serve.
WHAT OTHER WAYS HAVE YOU SERVED AT ALL SOULS?
I’ve served in the men’s ministry, taught Sunday School, served in the nursery, led a community group, participated in mission trips, co-led the confirmation class, facilitated a financial stewardship class, changed light bulbs …
HOW HAS GOD USED ALL SOULS IN YOUR LIFE?
It has encouraged me, challenged me, fed me and connected me to God and his community. All Souls has been a tremendous blessing to my family as well.

My parents thought it was a great idea for me to take accordion lessons while in junior high school … if that wasn’t an awkward time already.
