Shaped by The Story: Lent 2023

We are all being shaped by something. Scripture is a collection of writings both divine and human, that tell the story of God’s grace in Jesus. But what happens when we enter the strange world of the Bible? Is the distance between its context and ours too great? Does it answer the questions of modern life? To Jesus, scripture is trustworthy. To Jesus, scripture has a claim over our lives. Our practice during Lent will focus on how to read the Bible for formation: to shape us into the image of Jesus for the sake of others.
